Spring Cleaning #2 - How To Clean Your RDA

Welcome back to part two of our Spring Cleaning Series. If you missed part one where we show you how to clean up your mech mod, you can read it here or watch the video on our YouTube page. Today we're going to walk you through how to clean your RDA!

What you'll need:

  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Hot Water
  • Cotton Swabs
  • Toothbrush
  • Tweezers

Step One: Disassemble your RDA by removing the top cap, drip tip, O-rings and any additional parts that you can unscrew. Feel free to leave your posts attached, if you have an RDA that has removable ones.

Step Two: Soak all the parts in rubbing alcohol for 5 minutes.

Step Three: Scrub and rinse all the parts in warm water with the toothbrush. This will remove all the built up dirt and grime.

Step Four: You can dry the parts with a paper towel, or let them air dry. Just take special care not to ruin the O-rings, if you decide to use a paper towel. Usually just letting them sit on a paper towel will soak up most of the water still on them.

Step Five: Use the cotton swabs to clean up any hard to reach areas and the threading. You can then put your RDA back together and you're done!

The whole process should take about 5 minutes. If you need a more visual approach, check out this video we made. We will be back in a couple weeks with another tutorial! If there is something you'd like us to show how to clean, post it in the comments below.
